Since Reminiscent Dawn is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the lake setting in Warriors, there's a bit of backstory (which isn't too complicated) and also a mostly optional site-wide plot. It's suggested that you read at least some of this before writing a biography.
The Story
Things had been going badly for the Clans ever since the title of leadership was handed down to Tigerstar's son, Brambleclaw. As soon as he'd gained his full nine lives his father began visiting him again from the distant reach of a place known as the Exile (where the spirits of loners, kittypets, rogues and dead Dark Forest/StarClan cats reside) and Brambleclaw fell back into his former habits, essentially channeling his father's hunger for revenge.
The Clans fell, destroyed by the now power-hungry ThunderClan. Any cats Bramblestar deemed to be 'unloyal' or 'unworthy' were killed or exiled, leaving him with a large number of warriors who would bow at his every command. First RiverClan was destroyed, then WindClan, and ShadowClan's cats were taken prisoner.
Yet there was still hope. StarClan, who still had many cats among their ranks despite the casualties in the previous battle, began rallying the now-rogue cats of the fallen Clans, and with their help they managed to take down and kill many of the cats in ThunderClan. But at the end of the battle, the victorious cats realized something: most of StarClan had also been killed, and were now trapped in an eternity of being constantly tortured by the Dark Forest and Exile cats, unable to escape.
Tyranny struck. Cats constantly attacked other cats, sometimes even from their own Clan, and the few who didn't act like that were often killed. The lake territories crumbled with the warrior code, the places the Clans once called home now dangerous.
The cats needed someone to save them.
What Happens Now
The handful of cats that aren't trying to murder each other are now banding together, hoping to restore the peace between the Clans. But there are many who oppose them, meaning they're in constant danger of attack.
If you'd like to be one of the cats in the group (otherwise known as LightClan), you can apply in this thread.
